The clinic is run by our practitioner, Chloe.
Chloe completed a Psychology BSc at the University of Birmingham, followed by a MSc in Counselling Psychology at Keele University. With experience in roles ranging from mental health assistant for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust to youth counsellor in Australia, Chloe has gained valuable experience in ensuring patients have the best possible care when visiting Smart TMS.
After joining Smart TMS in 2018, Chloe has gone on to develop our addiction counselling programme to run alongside TMS treatment. She’s passionate about making sure every patient receives the very best care.

Conditions we treat
TMS has been proven to treat depression and anxiety as well as other mental health conditions and some addictions. Smart TMS was the first UK clinic to offer TMS treatment for conditions other than depression.
Most of the patients we treat here at Smart TMS (around 70%) are suffering from clinical depression – including seasonal affective disorder (SAD), perinatal depression and bipolar disorder.
We also offer TMS treatment for the following conditions:
- generalised anxiety disorder (GAD)
- addictions to drugs, smoking and alcohol
- obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- depersonalisation disorder (DPD)
- borderline personality disorder (BPD)
HOW TO GET HERE
Smart TMS Birmingham is conveniently located just a few minutes away from Birmingham City Centre. Five Ways station is within walking distance and regular buses stop on Harborne Road, just around the corner from the clinic.
There is plenty of free parking available at the clinic for those choosing to travel by car.
