Smart TMS are registered with CQC, or Care Quality Commission. This is an independent, government funded body, which checks standards at medical organisations.
CQC regularly assess healthcare services, through site visits, criminal record checks, interviews with management and detailed reviews of how the service is run.
The key areas focused upon during an inspection include:
- Are services safe?
- Are services effective?
- Are services caring?
- Are services responsive to people’s needs?
- Are services well-led?
We are yet to receive our first official inspection, however CQC have ensured our service is likely to be safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. Our registered manager, Mrs Nicola Hudson-Speaight, is appointed by Smart TMS to manage all regulated activity on behalf of the company. She ensures day-to-day running meets the needs of all patients and CQC.
