This week, Every Mind Matters has been launched by the NHS.
The aim of Every Mind Matters is to help everyone achieve a healthier lifestyle, both physically and mentally.
The television advert is voiced by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Every day stress and anxiety are normalised, breaking the stigma to help you reach out if you need help.
The website includes short quizzes, designed to identify the areas of your health that you could improve upon in order to improve your overall well-being.
Suggestions to improve your mental health include tips on:
- Getting good quality sleep;
- Coping with anxiety;
- Improving your mood and
- Dealing with stress
Advice is also given on getting urgent support if you feel you can’t carry on and helping others suffering with their mental health.
Tips on improving physical well-being include:
- Making swaps to improve diet;
- Moving more and getting active;
- Stopping smoking;
- Drinking in moderation;
