The Dublin clinic opened in 2017 and is now entering its 5th year. Based close to Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin city centre, our Irish TMS clinic is easy to get to by car or public transport and we welcome patients from all over Ireland including Northern Ireland as well as Eire.
We asked Eoin, our Dublin-based TMS practitioner, to give us an insight into the clinic and to his role as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician.
Eoin says:
“Smart TMS opened Ireland’s first TMS clinic in 2017 and since then we have been treating patients for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, addiction, OCD and PTSD.”
He continues to explain just how easy it is to find the clinic in central Dublin:
“The clinic is located in Pembroke House in the centre of Dublin city, just a five-minute walk from St Stephen’s Green and a ten-minute walk from Pearse Street train station.
“There is paid parking on the surrounding streets, and ample coffee shops and delis nearby where you can grab a bite to eat between sessions.”
Eoin provides TMS treatment for a range of conditions. A course of treatment involves a series of sessions and Eoin says seeing patients improve is a real joy and a privilege:
“My favourite part of the job is getting to know our patients and seeing their progress.
“TMS has been truly transformative for many of our patients, and it is immensely rewarding to have someone feel their life has been turned around because of the treatment we have provided.”

SMART TMS CLINICS
Smart TMS was established in 2015, dedicated to providing TMS treatment in London at their South Kensington/Brompton Cross centre. The company then opened a second clinic in Birmingham in September 2017. The first Irish clinic was opened in Dublin in October 2017 and in 2018, Smart TMS opened further locations in Manchester, Bristol and Havant (South Coast).
